About WADA
WADA came into existence when two journalists Prabha Gupta and Gyaneshwar Dayal were doing some reports by going to the villages of India.
We were thinking how to extend a helping hand towards them, consequently, the idea came into existence to register a name called WADA, thus WADA (Welfare Association for Downtrodden) came into existence. We got it registered on 15 September,1998. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act,1860. WADA is also registered with the Darpan Portal of the Government of India and then WADA became eligible to take some projects from the Government of India and thus we start helping the downtrodeen ones .
