Have you noticed the erratic irregularities in climate, such as extreme temperatures, rainfall, and unprecedented cold weather? According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, these are all ill effects of climate change. These environmental disasters are among the most significant threats to human survival, and children, in particular, are at the receiving end of it. According to a report if the earth gets warmer at the current rate, children born in 2020 and after will witness more heatwaves, floods, droughts and wildfires than earlier generations.
WADA has also worked on climate change mitigation as well.
Climate change is happening but You can be a part of the solution by making small changes that can create a huge impact and a huge difference if done every day. It’s time to act collectively and work towards saving our planet.
WADA has executed many a project on its own in UP and Uttrakhand. It has worked on plastic waste management. It has also started a campaign to stop the use of polythene bags and emphasized on to the use of cloth bags and paper bags.
